So….on a lovely, hot, Spring day what better decision than to take your (in this case) Jaguar E- Type Series 1 Roadster for a glorious `spin` in the country. When you return home you pop inside briefly and then emerge a few minutes later only to find that………….IT`S GONE!
It can take just that long for the car to disappear…..REMEMBER: The professional thief – unbeknownst to you – has probably had his eye on your car for weeks. AND he (or she) is a damn sight more street-savvy than you!
PLEASE: FIT A TRACKER ….. AND A SUITABLE (SUBTLE) IMMOBILISING DEVICE
In this case – a true story of just a few days ago – our client, with the help of the Police (and the Tracker) was reunited with his car within the hour. It was discovered – due to the accuracy of his Tracker – covered by a tarpaulin in a nearby cul-de-sac.
Without the Tracker the E-Type would not have been found……FACT.
Three lessons:
1) FIT A TRACKER
2) FIT A SUBTLE IMMOBILISING DEVICE
3) ENSURE THAT THE INSURANCE VALUE IS CORRECT
