It was with great sadness that WinSpeed Motorsport learned of the death to-day (Friday 15th. October) at 2 a.m., of Alan Blanch – the ever popular fount of knowledge at the Parts Counter of H.A. FOX in Guildford. Apparently he felt unwell on Monday and succumbed to acute Pancreatitis. Not only only does the local (and wider) Jaguar community lose a man with encyclopaedic knowledge, but also who possessed both modesty and a very cheery humour.
We had known Alan for 20 years; he will be sadly missed and our condolences go to his family.
