The UK and Continental market is awash with E-Types for sale. But please….: CAVEAT EMPTOR! So, too, is the market awash with sub-standard stock, cleverly prepared for sale often catching-out the unwary.
At WinSpeed we are at the sharp end of the business. Our WORKSHOPS and ENGINEERS look after our customers’ cars to ensure that they are provided with enjoyable ownership and motoring experiences. Sadly however, for many of our first-time customers, we have to break the news of our findings as gently as possible that all that glisters is not gold.
Whether purchased from (often reputable) Auction Houses, or Traders who, by blanket advertising, appear to be experts, we see cars that make our minds boggle in sheer disbelief: Bodged bodywork; poor engineering and “how could it honestly have been granted that new MOT?”.
We take all this very seriously. Fortunately – with the odd exception – our customers fully understand the magnitude of the problem(s) encountered and follow our programme of planned remedial work and improvements.
This tenet is reflected in the quality of our own SALES STOCK. We choose our stock carefully, selecting only those that meet with our own rigidly held requirements. We sell our cars openly, safe in the knowledge that they hold no hidden surprises.
