It was fully restored about 15 years ago, since when it has been in regular use both in the UK, on the Continent and also as far afield as on a rally in Australia.
Not only is this a matching numbers, UK, Right Hand Drive example, but – bearing Chassis Number 850900 – is the 900th RHD 3.8 Litre Series One Roadster to have been manufactured and…..the 43rd from last off the line (in RHD form)!
Installed with the MT75 5-Speed gearbox, Triple-laced 5.5″ competition wire wheels, a sports exhaust system by Hayward & Scott, uprated alternator and starter motor and – importantly – a WinSpeed Fast Road cylinder head, this car drives beautifully and is very brisk. Not only does she look `Just Right`, but also she is dynamically most impressive.
