This wonderful car was restored by us for its late owner between 2023 and 2025, fulfilling his desire to rebuild the actual car that he had owned as a 24 year old in 1972!
(and – Yes – a restoration to this high standard does take two years)
Taken down to its bare shell and systematically repanelled where required; all mechanical components refurbished or replaced as required; the whole car reassembled with our characteristic attention to detail.
WinSpeed has produced a most beautiful example of one of the world`s most beautiful cars.
The 3.8 Litre engine, of course, was fully rebuilt in our own dedicated Engine Shop employing high quality machining, components and reassembly.
The gearbox is now an all-synchromesh 5-Speed unit; certain ancillary components – Starter Motor, Alternator and Front Brake Calipers – have been upgraded to ensure extra efficiency, our own well-proven Electronic Ignition is installed and the full 2” Stainless Steel exhaust system is the best that you can buy.
